Your marriage date is set, and you are full of excitement for your big day. Am sure your head is spinning from all the shopping and marriage preparations. Top on your list is to look your best. The weeks and months leading up to the big day can be some of the most stressful what with the endless details to take care of, friends, relatives and vendors to deal with and of course, finding your wedding lahenga. Since you have only few weeks to prepare, am sure you won’t have any time to take on a large-scale diet and exercise regimen to improve your body, but you can try squeezing in an hour of cardio alternated with strength training for a toned up look. Along with this you should follow a weight loss program which follows nutritious eating plan.

Here our few tips to look fit on your Wedding

Change your eating habitsFirstly cut out all the junk food from your diet, such as fatty fast foods, chips, doughnuts and chocolate bars. Don't try and starve yourself to lose weight that is one of the worst things you could do. You will just end up feeling weak and ill. Trying to cut down drastically on food will only lead to short term weight loss and when you go back to eating normally you will just put the weight back on and probably end up putting on even more weight than before. We suggest you eat small 4-5 meals a day. Do NOT skip breakfast. Skipping breakfast is the worst thing you can do your body. Instead eat healthy food that nourishes your body and energizes you. Add proteins in your diet. Lean Meat, Fish, egg whites, dairy products, and bean are good source of proteins. Aim for 3-4 servings of fruits and vegetables throughout the day.

Important Tip - Two weeks prior to your big day, incorporate a diet that is rich in antioxidants. You would also want to stay away from red meat. Instead, eat fish and white meat like chicken. This will help in loosing water weight.
   
Cardiovascular exercise is important and will make you feel good. Exercise releases endorphins in the brain, a chemical that uplifts you.

Your weight loss goal should not exceed an average of 1kg per week. We are not suggesting you go for a lean malnourished look. A bride should look fit and toned. Proper diet will make sure you have the clearest of skin and natural radiance.

Best way to tone up your legs and buttocks is to go for run. Another way to improve your fitness is dancing. Dancing is a fantastic way to improve your muscle tone. Aerobic exercises using a dance DVD is an ideal choice incase you do not have any parks around where you live. Some light weight-training exercises for your abdominal muscles, arms and legs will help in toning up. We do not recommend you overdo it. 10 minutes twice a week is enough for your weight training.

Drink lots of water, we do not want you to dehydrate. Cut all sugary drinks and limit your tea/coffee intake. Fizzy colas are anyway bad for their high sugar content. Go for coconut water that will help you detox. Get your pre-bridal package which included manicures, pedicures and massages.

Aromatherapy will help you relax and rejuvenate. It is very important that you get your 8 hours sleep every day. We do not want you to have dark circles under your eyes.
